and more cards

Ev helped me out and took some pictures. This is CTMH paper and I just flipped it over. Amazing how the change in color creates a totally different card.

Cards

OK so I didn't notice that little bent corner.......let me tell you a little story about CTMH retired foil and the diamond plate embossing folder and cutting the foil with dull scissors. Well the scissors were not dull until I tried to cut the foil to proper size and that little bent corner is PROBABLY the part that cut my finger....Ouch that foil can make a great razor blade. Actually it put a cut on my finger better than any folder I have ever battled with. Don't laugh have you ever had a paper folder cut.

Third Saturday in April project

This is what we made for the third Saturday project. I precut all 20 pages and divided them into individual "baggies". The paper pack is Caboodle Level 2 (7121B) Everyone brought a 6x6 album to put their pages in. I used a CTMH My Creations Display Album (Z1054) so I had to make up 4 extra pages. You will notice not many embellishments. I am using my book as a birthday gift for my SIL so I made different size tags as embellishment. All the tags had something to do with grandma, grandpa or grandkids. I love the way it turned out. We had a lot of fun but it took a long time to put all the pages together. Her birthday is today so I will find out soon what she thinks.

Scraplifted from Kim Smith (CTMH)

These are the pages we did at my Third Saturday Scrapbook Saturday on March 20th. I finally taped the pictures down. I got the idea for the layouts from Kim Smith's post. Thanks for looking.

Third Saturday in February

These are the pages and card we are doing at my Third Saturday gathering. My goal in 2010 was to add techniques to the group pages. We sewed, embossed and inked the edges of the cardstock for the pages. (now you know why I gave up quilting) The card is my take on an easel card. I lifted the Veranda pages from Connie Macfarlane and LaJeania Hicks both very talented CTMH consultants. We had a lot of fun.

Third Saturday Pages

I have scraplifted the left page from the CTMH art board. A very similair page was posted by consultant Christine Adams.

The third Saturday of each month I have a scrapbook gathering. My goal for 2010 is to include different techniques on the pages. The pages were done using CTMH Jingle Creative Basic pages. We scored the paper, sanded it, scissor distressed the edges of the cardstock, second generation stamping and tied bows from waxy flax. We also shared a retired CTMH paper pack (Just Chillin) and we each ended up with 2-2 page layouts ready for winter snow pictures. I really wanted to take pictures of everyones pages but Evan had the camera with him. I will put pictures on mine and post soon. We had lots of fun.

Scrapbook Saturday

The third Saturday of each month I have a scrapbook gathering. I have a food theme and pages to go with it. I decided we would have chicken chili and I did Promise of Spring paper kits from CTMH. It was fun to make the smokey plum, olive and bamboo flowered layouts when the snow was flying outside. Well Evan made bread bowls. He did such a great job and they were so good. Just look.

Christmas in July

The third Saturday of each month I have a scrapbook gathering. I really never know how many will be there. I plan a project with CTMH products. Cost is $5-$10 for the project(s) We also have a food theme so we scrap and eat. Lots of fun. We are making Crhistmas cards. I can safely put this on my blog as no one reads my blog so pretty sure they won't see the cards.

.Wow after looking at my post the "stickels" do not photograph well. The cards look better "in person"
